Bill Maggard is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key healthcare clients and consultants, and sourcing and evaluating new development and acquisition opportunities for NexCore Group. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Bill directs NexCore’s efforts in the Midwest Region from a regional office that is part of the company’s strategic expansion to provide greater support to our national clients.
An accomplished healthcare real estate development executive with over 20 years experience, Bill has spent the last 16 years planning, developing, and financing medical office and ambulatory care facilities. Prior to joining NexCore, Bill served as a senior executive and manager with some of the nation’s largest healthcare real estate firms, including Jones Lang LaSalle and Duke Realty Investments. His experience includes leading medical office feasibility studies for hospitals and health systems; initiating marketing and leasing campaigns for investor-owned, hospital-sponsored medical office developments; and raising and deploying capital for medical office building acquisitions and new development. He has also led the development of over 400,000 square feet and the management of over 900,000 square feet of medical office property.
Bill earned a Juris Doctor degree from American University’s Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.
