Courtney Hanfland
Vice President Asset Management & Leasing
Courtney Hanfland specializes in asset management, acquisitions, and leasing, with a focus on maximizing the long-term value of each asset. Courtney has expertise in physician and hospital lease negotiations, physician and hospital relationship management, acquisitions, development, investment analysis and reporting, property management, long-term operating expense management, capital project management, and budget and market analysis.

Since joining NexCore Group, Courtney has been instrumental in the closing of multiple acquisitions and portfolio recapitalizations as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the portfolio assets. Her primary responsibilities center around adding long-term value to the portfolio assets through successful tenant and hospital partner relationships, overseeing NexCore’s top-tier property management services and ongoing leasing. Courtney has helped to bring multiple development assets to a stabilized occupancy and has renewed multiple tenants within the portfolio during this tough economic downturn and evolving healthcare environment. Her depth of knowledge in various real estate disciplines and health systems allows her to enhance the value of each project and asset she works with.

Prior to joining NexCore, Courtney worked for a national real estate and venture capital firm in the medical office division. She held a variety of positions in the areas of asset management, acquisitions and leasing. Much of her time was spent working on value-add medical office building portfolios across the United States. Courtney has worked on projects throughout the country with various hospital systems including Doctors Community Hospital, Ascension Health, Alexian Brothers Health Network, Providence Health Care, UNC-Rex Health Care, HCA, Advocate, Condell Health Network, Capella Health, Tenant Healthcare Corporation, and Centura.

Throughout her career, Courtney has successfully navigated the changing needs of physicians and hospitals for medical office/clinical space and lease terms while achieving maximum asset value for real estate investors. Her experience working on new developments and older medical office buildings enhances her ability to strategically respond to the changing needs of healthcare providers, hospitals, and real estate investment partners.

Courtney received both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stephens College. She is also a licensed real estate broker in Colorado.
