Ed Christen

Vice President Finance

Ed Christen assists in analyzing and structuring all development and acquisition projects for NexCore Group. Additional responsibilities include the sourcing of debt and equity capital for these opportunities. 

Ed has been involved in analyzing, structuring, financing and closing over $500 million of real estate projects.  He has more than 12 years of experience in real estate analysis, acquisitions, due diligence, finance and investment performance.

Ed received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from State University of New York at Buffalo, a Masters from George Mason University and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.

Gaye Bass

Nick assists in the underwriting and analysis of potential development and acquisitions for NexCore Group. He brings a diverse background in real estate and development to the company and is an active participant in the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties as well as the Urban Land Institute. Nick is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado.

Nick is a Colorado native and graduate of the Daniel’s College of Business at the University of Denver with a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management. He is a graduating member of the Business Honors Society of Beta Gamma Sigma and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Gaye Bass

Due Diligence Manager

Gaye Bass

Gaye Bass coordinates the due diligence process for construction and permanent debt, property acquisitions, new developments and dispositions. She also administers leasing documentation and project files for new development and NexCore-managed properties. She assists in the coordination of entity and real estate-fund documentation.

Since joining NexCore in 2001, Gaye has assisted in the closing of transactions consisting of more than 400,000 square feet of commercial and medical office space valued in excess of $95 million.

Prior to joining NexCore Group, Gaye was affiliated with BetaWest Properties and involved in the development, acquisition and disposition of a $1 billion commercial real estate portfolio. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska.
