Tom McCartyCorporate Counsel
In his role as Corporate Counsel, Tom McCarty coordinates and oversees the work with NexCore Group’s outside legal counsel and assists in the planning and structuring of business transactions.
Tom has over 15 years of legal experience as a transactional lawyer. He specializes in entity formation; business planning and structuring; mergers and acquisitions; and corporate, partnership, and real estate taxation. Prior to joining NexCore, he worked with both local and national law firms—most recently with Sherman & Howard in Denver.
Tom received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association. He also holds degrees in Accounting and Engineering from the University of Colorado and Arizona State University, respectively.
