Project Summary
This two-story, 60,000 SF project is one of two medical office buildings that NexCore Group is developing for its client, Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) near Lexington, KY in 2020. The London building was completed in August 2020 and provides a creative and innovative solution to Saint Joseph London’s desire to consolidate its physicians and staff into one facility, maximize efficiency and expand services.
To create the ultimate result for CHI’s nationwide initiative, NexCore developed a prototype comprised of scalable buildings ranging in size from 20,000 to 60,000 square feet on an adaptable, structural steel frame. The agile layouts were designed to allow new projects to move quickly through the design process. NexCore’s prototypes have been or are being deployed in several other projects in Iowa, Nebraska and other U.S. markets. The optimized facility fosters productivity increases of an estimated 22-28% among providers, allowing them to see more patients more efficiently.
